I collaborated with Art Island to create an outdoor experiential art event called New World in Austin, Texas in October 2020.
This was our art collective's first in-person event during the pandemic. We worked carefully and creatively on intentional flow and Covid safety precautions for our open-air, limited attendee event.

I worked on social media animations, event ideation, art installations and promotion.
I collaborated with incredible artist, Marcelo Villaseñor and animated his illustrations with event info.
I animated these awesome kinetic typography pieces to message our attendees prior to the event.
These were created with Kiel Danger's incredible Space Type Generator.

I collaborated on and named the installation Color Ascension, shown below. It was intentionally designed with a solo experience in mind. Attendees could sit, stand or dance upon the hexagon-shaped haptic (vibrating) floor panel, which generated vibrations from music. A perimeter of lights enveloped you and shifted in color. Strands of leaves foraged nearby ascended to the top of the piece, an illuminated heptagon with a net of fluffy clouds.
Here are a few favorite snapshots from the event and of our team! You can learn more about Art Island here.

I also created this hand-lettered illustration and animation:
